I don't mind that people sing at concerts, I just don't like when I can hear them on live bootlegs. But I've heard worse singers on videos, haha.

As to what this song is about, to me it has always been about finding the love of your life and spending every night with that person.

This song sounded so much better when you guys were just call florence pow. "These are the Plans" is still my favorite cd. Every night I spent with my girlfriend for the last four years we listened to "nights of the week". Broke our hearts when we found out the band changed around. We live out in MA so news didn't get here to quick. Still, we will always love your music.

actually, we were louder in the video b/c the camera was closer to us than to the band. and actually, I CAN sing, thankyouverymuch. but not when I'm jumping up and down and not trying to sound good.
People sing along because it's fun. Not rocket science. It's impossible to sing louder than the blaring speakers in the venue.

Haha I agree, sorry if that offends anyone. I never understood people singing louder than the band. It's not like you can sing, otherwise you'd be up there.

yessss. precisely. although the guy next to me was kind of singing into my ear a little more than I would've liked. but he was so happy I didn't have the heart to say anything. lol

Bottom line is...you were enjoying yourself...if someone wants to experience the live thing...dont go to you tube....go to a fucking concert...right?
