what happened to the rest of the movies?
I know that there were two other books i read them both loved them sorta sad to see that it didn't go anywhere

@Cadiuro No its Scandanavian: that means Danish/Swedish/Norwegian. That is three different languages which uses almost the same words and Svalbard in His Dark Materials lies north of Norway where they speaks Norwegian. Its kinda a part of it and near Earth's largest island: Greenland, which is covered by much ice in the winter.

The English version I have is called the Golden Compass! So... maybe it's an American edition...
(At first I thought Northern Lights was the title of the series!)

Just imagine how surprised I got when I read the English version and saw that the bears were actually called "Panserbjørne!" ☺ Pretty much also explained why, at first, Lyra didn't know they were bears...
But... come on... how hard can it be to pronounce "panserbjørn"? ;-)

So it is in dutch

yeh film does get complicated unless you read the book and if they make another film (witch i dunno if they will or wont)it would get very very complicated
