@burnstagger Greenspan lied about EVERYTHING he saw, did, touched. If he said it, it isn't true. Same with Bernanke. The surpluses did not exist, could not exist, and the USA has been bankrupt since 1971. There are only loser Americans like you born there & demanding what does not exist to pay for your future. @ytgv3fc7 The surpluses never existed? Then why in 1998 did then-Fed chairman Alan Greenspan say that the US should "USE THE SURPLUS TO PAY DOWN THE DEBT". Yes, the surpluses existed and were real, until hordes of loser wannabe foreigners flooded into America and robbed her blind, that is. Russians, Chinese, Indians, and Bean Dips wrecked the USA and everyone knows it.

@Y0UT00B3R1 We produce enough skilled people to create the IT industry, the internet, the PC, most software, iPhones, iPads, Space Shuttles (that actually fly), radio, trains, automobiles, modern medicine, and just about everything else. Russian "programmers" lust after US jobs because there is no Russian operating system or any Russian computing platform or any Russian IT industry to speak of. They have to come to USA like beggars and take jobs created by Americans.

@ytgv3fc7 Not true. In the late 1990s we had huge surpluses. The 3rd worlders invaded and ripped if all off, AND through taxpaying Americans out of jobs. How do you expect the gov't to have any tax surplus when there are no taxpayers?
