Both played through same amps (Peavey Classic 30 and Fender Concert) in stereo setup. Also includes Barber Tone Press compressor, Paul Cochran Tim overdrive, Seymour Duncan Twin Tube Classic preamp, Dunlop Stereo Tremolo, Boss DD-20 delay, and Boss RC20XL looper in various combinations. Live in-studio performance, no overdubs, playing over loop recorded on first pass.
Guitar: 16" x 2.75" 3-ply maple hollowbody; 24.6" scale; parallel tone bar bracing & soundpost under bridge; TV Jones Classic pickups; Tru-Arc BR-95 bridge matching 9.45" fretboard radius; ebony fretboard; tone switch circuit.

I guess I have to get a Gretsch. And no other trem sounds like a Bigsby.

Hi Proteus, thanks for demo both Gretsch models, which is of great help making my choice.
Maybe it's in my ears, but the 6118 GA sounds a bit more sparkling vs the 6118-125, which sounds a bit fuller or controlled?
Is this because of TV Jones classics vs TV Jones powertrons, apart from the difference in bracing?
