The GOP doesn't get. Did you know out of all the candidates Obama feared on that stage he only feared Huntsman. He's quoted as stating this by the way. Huntsman is a moderate republican who can appeal to independents, and could get some minorities but no, you guys had to go with these right winged dumbasses. Now, the GOP better start looking at Huntsman again, Colin Powell or somebody moderate otherwise no more victories for them. Huntsman and Powell have warned this was going to happen.

Some Huntsman ideas:

- Cut Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid

- Full elimination of the capital gains tax

- Close tax loopholes. No tax rate hikes for the wealthy

Etc.

He is a solid fiscal conservative and a social moderate. A viable conservative. How the hell can anyone say this guy is a liberal or a Rino??

Just sickening to me that Huntsman didn't beat out these idiots. Democrats and Independents should have registered Republican just to vote for him. I just hope he runs again... maybe under a different party.

Galileo was attacked by the pope. Popes have never been known for their great understanding of science and the universe. Unless Rick Perry was saying ignore what the religious say, and listen to what scientists say then he didn't make a very strong argument.

He did have a point about Galileo though...just saying. The brightest scientists have historically been seen as crazy quacks.
