This movie was so symbolistic.
I hope Nolan does something equally phenomenal with the upcoming Superman reboot (Man Of Steel)

@obiwanobiwan13 Couldn't have put it better myself. Batman needs Joker, same as Joker needs Batman. They really are polar opposites, which is why neither has killed the other

@Euratsa If your eyes worked like that, you would never be able to blink during a picture... Reactions to the light are instantaneous.
-
I like how in 0:10 Joker already has his eyes closed ready for the impact when Batman hasn't even touched him.... And it's not a reaction to the light because that would've been instantly after the lights went on not a full second later.

Ok, so I enjoyed this movie as much as the next guy, but 0:20 and the just before it makes batman look like a joke.

You can't see it in this video, but if you own the movie in Widescreen or Blu-Ray, you can see Christian Bale's eyes twinkling the entire scene <3
I love when the Joker says "You complete me!"
Try to imagine Kirk without Spock. Or Holmes without Watson. C-3P0 without
R2-D2. If you want to go back further, try Rosencrantz without Guildenstern, or Prince Hal without Falstaff, Robin Hood without Little John.......
But HERE, it's not two friends, but the hero and the villian. Robin DOES NOT complete Batman- the Joker DOES.

the police station after the joker gets arrested. What scares me is what the joker says makes sense!
