Syu - Against The Wind (Stratovarius cover)

A song from Syu's 2010 album of metal covers "Crying Stars ~Stand Proud!~". Syu (pronounced "Shue") is the guitarist, backing vocalist and songwriter for Japanese metal band Galneryus, and also performs guitar and lead vocals in SPINALCORD (formerly known as Aushvitz) and Re:VAL, and drummed for CROSS-LARGE. He was formerly a member of Animetal. The other stand out track on this album was IMO the cover of Michael Schenker Group's "Red Sky", check it out!

This particular song is from the Statovarius album "Fourth Dimension", which was the band's first album featuring Timo Kotipelto who has since come to define the Stratovarius sound. This song was written and composed by Timo Kotipelto and Timo Tolkki together.
