I saw George Shuffler many times with Ralph Stanley and the Clinch Mt. Boys when I was growing up in the late '60s and early '70s. George is a true master of traditional "cross pick" style guitar and made a huge impression on me back then. He's still one of my all time favorites of this style after all these years. Thanks so much for sharing this clip!

Man....you can just see the sadness on Carter's face. Sadly, he passed in 1966 at the age of 41. There is little extant footage of him performing.
