Pomp and Circumstance March No. 1 in D (1901)
Sir Edward William Elgar (2 June 1857 -- 23 February 1934).
Newsreel film of Elgar speaking, then conducting the Trio of Pomp and Circumstance March No. 1 at the opening of EMI's Abbey Road studios, 12 November 1931.
Followed by a full audio recording by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, recorded in 1987, conducted by Andre Previn.
How could this have been recorded with only TWO microphones?
The snare drum is so clear yet it has no microphone; this must be all faked in some way.
Also, at 2:07, you can see a motion picture camera and operator on a scaffold.

Skip to 2:26 for Previn's interpretation.

It needs a little more circumstance and a bit less pomp. Just my opinion, however.
