First demo of "Highly Favoured" for the CompassionArt Project. Amy Grant's final version on the CD is ok, but this short version is MUCH BETTER!!! Matt Redman, Micheal W Smith, and Steven Curtis Chapman wrote this song together for the project.

I agree with you, this version is much better than the Amy Grant version!!!!! Do you happen to have the full 50-minute documentary? I purchased the album off of iTunes, but it only came with a 15-minute documentary. Everything I've read says the DVD is 50 minutes long. Do you have the full version? Thank you for posting this!!!

i got mine from iTunes too, so just the 15 min version. i'm glad to know i'm not alone on this. you just can't beat this version.

unfortunately, they haven't recorded it as far as i know... i'm going to see Delirious? in Houston this Friday, so maybe they'll play the song there... i'll let you know:)

it seems that Michael W. Smith would be more likely to record it on his own album, as the phrase "highly favoured" was first his idea

I first heard this song at a joyce meyer concert also ^_^ but mine was in long beach, ca. i would reeeally like to own the Delirious? version, do you know if they recorded it?

I was at lakewood church for my first time and i was very inspired by the singing and praising . and i will never ever forget the fruity hat, i try to make my life fruitful becuz of the day i had in the church. you guys rock and have changed my life, believe it or not. i've been searching for this song for a while now and i found it! you guys sing beautiful. don't stop spreading Gods work. I had this song at my baptism (chosen by my bf coz he did the worship) He said this song was a prayer over me :D

wow! i love this version! i agree that the version sung by Amy Grant is okay, but this one is so much better! and Martin Smith sang it at the European Evangelistic Conference 2009, so awesome as well! I wish that was available on DVD... ;-)
