First time for Dad to shoot this rifle at the shooting range.
The rifle is a Martini-Henry cavalry carbine .577/.450.
It was grouping respectably at 100 metres and makes a very satisfying boom and cloud of black powder smoke :-) Would not like to be on the other end of this!!!

  • @hqkill It's Anti-Zulu shells

  • i would like to see more of this gun could a video like that be made?

  • rear rank fire

  • I would love to have a reproduction one of these in a more modern round. That old stuff has got to be massively expensive and corrosive too.

  • It shoots the old black-powder .577/.450 ammo, it is a .577 snider shell elongated and necked down to a .45 caliber slug. the ammo is usually very expensive and hard to find because most people quit using this gun around the turn of the century and few people make the ammo anymore. a good source is ten-x but it is expensive, Another option is the catalog Jamison Arms, then there is simply making your own. hope this helps

  • Im in love!

  • that is clearly a high ass caliber gun were can i find one?

  • @EnigmaHood I beg your pardon?

  • @KingOIdiots You're an idiot.
