i love this video. I must have looked at a dozen videos before and no one detailed out how to get the green axis inference to stick until now. Thanks so much for showing that basic part instead of assuming your audience already knows (Sketchup Novice)

why does it have to be so lenghty? This program confuses me, even primitives have to be sketched up.

true. this vid just shows how to make a sphere from scratch though. if you just want a pre-made sphere. you could download one from the 3D Warehouse and save it in the component browser.
