@luriette78 That's the great thing about Ferguson... He doesn't do what every other guy in late night does. He walks out there and just be's himself instead of completely following a script that is 90% written for him. And his monologue is twice as long as Kilborn's, allowing for even more laughs just at the beginning of the show alone. Kilborn is boring to me.

Yeah, why do Ferguson fans (and many Conan fans for that matter) always say Kilborn was fired. He wasn't. I even heard they offered him more money and he still left.

I think Ferguson is a nice guy and very smart, but he rarely makes me laugh. I don't understand why everyone thinks improvisation automatically equals brilliance. Most of the stuff he comes up with is chaotic and not very funny. I like his theme song though.
