Ha yeah anytime I say anything about thrice on a dredg video, the thumbs down come flyin' from every direction. They're different, so it's hard to make a comparison. And to add to the question from raj4evera, check out As tall as lions, Explosions in the Sky, Minus the Bear, etc. if you haven't already.

comparing Dredg to Thrice is a dangerous thing... Gavins voice is celestial .... Thrice's guy's voice is plain good. Theres a nice band (a bit different) called HURT. They are also amazing. Check out Danse Russe live or House Carpenter.

Also, I forget to mention, I think the visual to this song (for me, as a painter) is a painting by Picasso- La Vie, painted in 1903 (blue period). It was what popped in my head during this video.
