Obama Carries Bush Torch

The president who was supposed to bring us change we could believe in is looking more and more every day like the war criminal he replaced. The illegal occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan continue with no end in site, the Bush administration and all their assorted accomplices still walk free, the torture continues, Barack Obama has picked up right where George W. Bush left off with the illegal signing statements, and our Congress is still full of cowards who can't summon up the spine to do anything about it.

They would act if they truly felt like their cushy existence in Washington was threatened, but it will take a LOT MORE people contacting them relentlessly to demand action, and that they honor the peoples' will, as opposed to the will of the special interests that fill their campaign coffers.

But because it's Israel and they can do no wrong, Washington is silent. It's beyond disgusting, and speaks volumes about who really runs our government. Cynthia McKinney and the others were on an unarmed boat, in international waters, trying to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza. They posed no threat whatsoever to anyone.
