Originalmente esta cancion a peticion de Morrison se llamaria HIT ME ( Golpeame ) pero de ultimo momento se decidio cambiarse el nombre a TOUCH ME
La ultima Frase de la cancion "STRONGER THAN DIRT" ( MAS FUERTE QUE LA MUGRE) Generalmente es ignorada cuando se interpreta esta cancion, tal vez porque no es muy intelegible y no se alcanza a captar bien cuando termina la cancion ya que el Morrison la dice muy rapido.... y cuando uno consulta las lirycs o letra de esta cancion ( ya sea en internet o en libros) tambien NO SE HACE REFERENCIA a dicha frase pero esta frase esta en realcion a a un slogan publicitario del detergente AJAX y que en epoca en que fue escrita TOUCH ME estaba muy en voga en los mensajes publicitarios y Morrison la incluyo en contraposicion al Grupo ( y como una forma sarcastica de oposicion hacia ellos) que en ese entonces estaban en trato para autorizar que la tonada de Light my Fire ( tambien escrita por Krieger ) formara parte de un anuncio comercial de los Autos de la Marca BUIK a lo cual Morrison se opuso..... y esta es su Letra : C 'mon, c'mon, c'mon, c'mon now
