In this video I show my '84 Lado Devil. In my opinion the coolest pointy Metal guitar ever made. \m/

  • Cool

Yeh I like shecters cause they have large frets haha comfortable guitars

How'd u remove the finish off necks

    I hate that as well

  • @Jasaxos Just with stripper. Scrape off the gunk with a razor blade and then really light sanding. Beware through. Don't do it that way if you have binding. My Les Paul has learned that it will melt binding. I think it turned out looking cool but most people would probably be horrified \m/

  • I'd get that bridge post looked at real soon, saw a friend's guitar after the post let loose. It was'nt pretty. I'd about bet the bridge pickup is an X2N, Have a nice one!

  • @DystopianEmpire01 I don't think it's gonna get any worse unless I tried to use the bar which I don't do. In fact I don't play this guitar much at all. Once I get it refretted and the bridge posts fixed I'm sure it will be one of my main axes. It's a bit too hard to play and feel like I'm sounding my best on right now so I favor some of my other ones. \m/

  • @ShredGuitarAcademy Giant frets are certainly 'Metal', I find a flatter fingerboard radius makes a guitar more playable more than high frets. Were that sweet axe mine, I'd have the fretbord flattened to 14' radius at least, it's a 12' from what I can see, 2' should'nt devalue it, or ruin the inlays. just a thought. Also, looks like the Devil has med-jumbo frets, my fav for their 'woodier' sound and I find them plenty high myself, stainless steel preferably. And a nice flat board. ; )

  • @DystopianEmpire01 For me it's gotta be high frets. It's the only way I feel like I have a good grip on the string. Scalloping everything like Malmsteen would probably work for me as well but I just don't think it's necessary. For me big frets give enough clearance. I'm definitely down with the stainless steel though. The idea of once they are on they will never need dressing or wear out I am certainly down with. \m/

  • At the start it was like double talkin, jive motherfucker, xD

  • I was wondering if you could make a video about transitioning your hands up and down the scale for not changes. I'm fixing to be getting a guitar and you are the best teacher I have found so far that I understand. Also could you recommend some easy beginner Metal songs or rock songs? The Rig i'm going to have is a 1996 Jackson Kelly Custom with a Line 6 Spider IV 15W Amp. I've never picked up a guitar but I know I want to learn METAL 'd like to learn the basics

  • 0:09 - 0:25 TABS PLEEEEEASE!! :D It's sounds so amazing

  • cool axe

  • How can i get one?

  • very beautiful beast guitar (^o^)

  • 3 vado synths

    2 vado guitars

and a partirige in a pair tree :)

  • I was surprised to hear you say in this video that you have small hands. I was thinking that your hands were huge! That must be a tiny guitar. I love the way it looks. I have respect for custom guitar makers as I have tried to build a few myself and it's no picnic.

    Great vid!

  • @WickedIntent1 just watch him play it and play along. learn it by ear.

  • could you give me tabs or something for that rif at 0:10
