You are exactly right, I wish more people realized that. We do not have a two party system, we have a one party system and it's called the Big Government Party. To quote Judge Napolitano "“There is a Republican branch that likes war and deficits and assaulting civil liberties. There is a Democratic branch that likes welfare and taxes and assaulting commercial liberties." Add those two together and you have one hell of a mess.
