  • mobb deep are what they are, their not some underground back packing hiphop crew, their not some super lyrical mc's, they make good hardcore street hip hop, stuff u can just pump the beats up, and enjoy,,

  • @Adrenaline969 after HNIC, they both went downhill.

  • @Adrenaline969 murda muzik was mainstream yes, but mainstream back in the days was real. after 2000 thats when mainstream turned into sellout.

  • @Adrenaline969

You just cryin' because you're not getting EXACTLY the same sound as you grew up with. An artist wants to develope and experiment. You can't produce the same style for ten years...it get's boring. Mobb Deep didn't go too far experementing. It's still the same old shit wrapped in a modern suit. They ain't getting crunk or non of that shit.

Listen to "You know my Steez" by gangstarr and guru(rip) will tell you: We have certain formulars but we update them with the times...

  • @Adrenaline969 U crazy. Return of the Mac, HNIC 2, and Product of the 80's are all dope. So was the Havoc From Now On joint. Prodigy turned into a thug spoken word rapper, and obviously their old shit shines, but Hav and P are still better than most cats out there for hardcore rap.

  • you all full of shit mobb deep have kickd ass frm the start and will always be kicking ass on east coast you couldnt play there songs out if u tryd juvenile hell is also a vvgd album

  • They just want a little "go-out-of-business-with-more-cash" type of thing. I cant hate them for that, i just put on some of their older tracks and enjoy it.

  • i don't care if they went mainstream.... i like mainstream... murda muzik was mainstream and i loved it... that being said, NEW mobb deep is extremely corny... the music is unoriginal, and prodigy and havoc both have lost 90% of their lyrical ability... mobb deep is dead... infamous, hell on earth, murda muzik, and a few older unreleased track are their only good shit... g-unit didnt kill the mobb, they have already died after 2000 as far as im concerned..
