Sooner or Later - Chapter 27

Chapter 27:

"N-nick?" I asked surprised that he was standing there. "Hey, erm i came round because it's 12:45pm and you weren't answering your phone and we had plans at 12?" He explained. "What?! It's 12:45?!" I asked, shocked that i slept in SO late.

He laughed. "I like what you've done with your hair today." He commented. I went over to the mirror and looked at my hair pointing out in all different directions. I went over to him and slapped him playfully on the chest. He pulled a shocked face and charged over to me.

He grabbed me around the waist and started tickling me. I'm extremely ticklish so i was spazzing everywhere. "N-nick!" I squealed, trying to get his hands from around me. I was laughing and out of breath which made it hard to speak. "Nick!!" I squealed again.

I could hear him laughing in my ear, that's how close he was. I was walking backwards as he was tickling me when i tripped over my laptop wire and fell backwards. Nick fell on top of me and we were both in hysterics with laughter. The tickling stopped and the laughing faded.

Nick was on top of me and we were staring into each others eyes. In that moment everything seemed so perfect. I didn't want him to move because right then i had him. Staring into his perfect brown eyes. I took in his appearance, my eyes wandering all over his flawless face, then landing back into his eyes. That's when his phone started ringing. He got off of me slightly and took out his phone.

Guess who it was. Yep, you guessed it. "One sec, it's Adrianna. I'll just be outside on the phone to her." He explained. "Sure." I said just above a whisper, hurt in my voice but he didn't notice. He walked out my room door and onto the landing. Everything in that moment was perfect, then Adrianna had to call. This is just my luck. I was sat on the floor, cross legged.

Nick entered the room with a sympathetic look on his face. "Do you mind if we do the movies another day?" He asked. "Yeah, sure. Is everything okay?" I asked worried. "Yeah, it's just Adrianna isn't feeling too good today so she asked if i would mind going round and watching some movies with her to make her feel better." He explained. More like she's got the jealous bug. I sighed mentally.

"Ok. I'll walk you to the door." I smiled weakly. I walked Nick to the door and said our goodbyes. I couldn't believe she was doing this. It just isn't right or fair. The rest of the day i sat at home watching chick flicks which consisted of 'The Notebook', 'A Walk To Remember', 'Alot Like Love' and many more.

All day i watched movies and ate my feelings away with chocolate. It was now getting late so i decided to go to bed. Not that i could get to sleep.

I had been in bed for 2 hours now and i wasn't even close to falling asleep yet. It was 2 am and while the rest of this city was asleep, i was nowhere close to. I just couldn't believe it had happened again. I don't know what's wrong with me. I guess she's just got a spell on him .. lucky her.

I opened my window blinds slightly and layed back on my bed looking out to the sky, up at the stars. My eyes then wandered to Nick's bedroom. I noticed his bedside lamp on. Something wasn't right. He never had his lamp on at this time of the night. Well, i've never seen him up this late at night the whole time i've known Nick which is most of my life. I picked up my phone and began to type on the phone pad. I needed to know what was up with him.


Ooooohh so what is up with Nick?
And poor Beth. :( When will that Nick boy notice her? :( :p

Awe thats so not fair!! It was Beths day to spend with Nick not Adrianna(i always think of my dogs when i read that name lmao).

Something must have happened at Adrianna's if Nick still up. Wonder what? Hmmm...
