Payback is sweet for Dusty Rhodes as he gets some revenge on Tully Blanchard. This is the event that motivates the Horsemen to break Dusty's arm.

  • Dusty was a fat dirty pig.. Ugly mf with lisp

  • lol wtf is that gay shit with everybody falling out the the ring from one guy on the floor touching them? Retarded even for the old days of wrestling.

  • I LOVED this when it happened back then. Tully needed an "attitude adjustment." ALL the Horsemen needed it.

  • Payback for what Flair and the Anderson's did back in 85 no doubt!

  • geez, if dusty would have stayed on his back, he would never lose a match. he would just keep flipping u out of the ring lol

  • @peterp21 I agree that JCP started to decline a little by late 1987, but it was so hot that a small decline didn't hurt them that much. They were selling out arenas all over in the spring and summer of '88. It killed them that so many guys started to leave though. Like you said, it's hard to keep up with Vince when he is robbing territories of their top talent. But with that being said, Turners guys did a horrible job from late '88 onward. The only bright spot was the Flair/Steamboat feud.

  • @bull864 I wouldn't blame Turner for that entirely. NWA/WCW/JCP business held out as long as it could against Vince's talent poaching, predatory practicing, national expanding onslaught. They held out a lot longer than everyone else. And to be honest, you are correct that in the mid-80s NWA was still doing great, but even by late 1987 things were beginning to fall.

  • @zisoul Are you that stupid? The exact opposite happened moron! Turner didn't turn things around until the mid 90's after he screwed up the greatest promotion of all-time, which would be JCP. During the mid 80's, JCP was so hot that they filled up football stadiums during the Great American Bash tour! Do a little research Einstein.

  • to quote the bible: "vengance is mine! sayeth the lord" and thats what happened: vengance for dusty

  • @zisoul Horse hooey. :) The seats just aren't close to the ring. I guarantee you Mid-Atlantic Wrestling was packing them in.
