Hi folks,
I was in Ben MacDuhi from the Loch Etchican side. Great skiing. Perfect conditions. Biked in from Derry. If anyone is going out give me a shout. Aberdeen based.

I take it you are based in Aberdeen or South of the Dee?
I approach most of my stuff from the North and have skied many lines in the Northern Corries and also most of the gully lines on Ben Nevis. Tower gully twice has been the best.
Give me a shout if you fancy hooking up for a ski next winter.

Nice one. I may have to add that to my list for next season. Did you get any further down than the Lochan on skis?
What was your route out? Lairig Gru to the North?

You have a list too? Excellent :o)
I carried my skis from the end of the lochan up and onto Cairn Toul after the end of the fim clip. I then skied from the summit of Cairn Toul down the east facing corrie and then the stream line to about 50m above the base of the Lairig Ghru - another superb run. I had cycled from Linn of Dee to Derry lodge, then walked from there.

A big day out carrying all the ski kit up the Cairntoul Braeriach plateau. It must be hard to make that first side slip, jump from the cornice too!
What's the music it fits in really well?

There was admittedly a fair bit of dithering at the top, which is partially reflected by the looking up and down a few times! There was no jump when I finally did it, just an easy slide in. Chemical Brothers ft Richard Ashcroft, "The Test".
