Fighting with Tonfa (Techniques and Handling)

This video explores how to properly handle tonfa (weapon of okinawan kobudo) and execute good technique.

Shown are the three primary holding methods and the ways in which to load and unload the tonfa. Methods include swinging, blocking, and striking.

Also shown at the end is a bit of fighting or randori. The goal of which is to test the weapons in a live but safe environment. This type of drill should not be attempted without direct expert supervision.
