Last summer I took a two week trip up to Northern Saskatchewan to attend the Ness Creek Folk Festival. This is one of the many places I camped for free along the way.

  • Bigger tires = Better highway, worse city mpg.

takes more gas to get them rolling from a dead stop (city) but they revolve more times once they are in motion (highway).

Stock tires were 13" which are about 10/$1 & you can use the ones from your Matchbox toy cars.

14"s are smart. 15's? Only if you are doing highway or are in deep snowy areas.

Had a 1991 Honda "WAGOVAN" - Imagine the fit with RT4wd (auto engaging, 4wd as needed) and my tires were 15" and I got about 25mpg overall. A+ car!

  • Great Vid! I live in sask its nice up north!

  • practical and simple!

  • I do like those wagons a lot. A friend had one a very long time.
