This music was not played at the end credits of "Godzilla 1985" for it's American release. Instead this music was played in the Japanese version released a year earlier called "Godzilla 1984", or "The Return of Godzilla"in Japan. This ending music was so beautifully composed that the producers of the American version decided it was not necessary to include it in the film. A mistake on their part.
This music is super beautiful and also super sad at the same time.
Nobody does it better than Reijiro Koroku who composed this film soundtrack.
@CTHimes01 But it is unfortunate that Toho decided not to include it in the film.

@CTHimes01 I'm going fix up the mistake.

The end credits music in the Japanese version is actually a pop song called "Godzilla", sung by The Star Sisters. I think this track was supposed to play under the credits (it's the right length), but for whatever reason, Toho and/or the director chose to use the Star Sisters song. This particular track isn't in any version of the film (the international dub uses the Star Sisters song, too).
