  • Great videos so far. Great, Great info and tips. I have heard Redding dies are some of the best. Any reason you do not use them, or are they just not necessary for good quality rounds? (Looking to get into reloading, and I guess I am guilty of overbuying, rather than underbuying and having to buy twice.)

  • @renhosti The Dillon dies are great for my .223 rounds. They have always been known to be good quality. For my .308 rounds I have the Redding National Match sizing & seating die. ( With micrometer).

  • Ive heard that lube is not needed when using a carb. sizing die. is this true? ive been relaoding straight pistol and never had a problem. thanks for your videos.

  • @mjmoto72 Hey, brother...pistol carbide dies are one thing, but rifle carbide dies are something else!! Lube the rifle brass when resizing!!! Ask any reloader who has had a rifle case stuck in their resizing die. Personally, I ALWAYS lube when resizing pistol AND rifle brass.

  • @RaymondMillbrae thanks much, ive only been reloading for a year so i will follow experience before i follow my own ideas.. thanks again.. great vids.. your bro . in reloading. michael. peace.

  • @mjmoto72 Thanks, Michael. Home-roll safely, and learn more than me!!!

  • how do you adjust the trimmer to cut a certain height every time? thanks

  • THis is depressing for someone who wants to just start getting into reloading, you have so much advanced/expensive machinery, i dont know where to start with first time reloading gear, ouch

  • Why not forget the M die, move dillon carbide sizer to last station and run a universal decapper on station 1? That would eliminate one neck sizing and make the brass last longer?

  • @thunder1716 Sorry, brother, don't remember if I ever answered you back. Anyhoo...I DO NOT use the case trimmer/resizer after sizing the brass in the first station. The die is set TO ONLY HOLD THE TRIMMER, and nothing else. I also purchased the Lyman "M" die from Midway USA, if memory serves me correctly. It is set to ONLY touch the inside lip of the case mouth. The expander ball DOES NOT enter into the neck.
