Rescue At Pine Ridge takes the reader on a journey with one of the most highly disrespected regiments in the history of the United States Military: "The Buffalo Soldiers." The gossip and rumors they experienced were false due to paranoia and racism, and civilians, their officers, and the Native Americans who gave them their name and observed their bravery, gallantry, and heroism, certainly knew better.

What I've read here is interesting and needed. ayemaya75...what did you think of the two mini-series released several years ago, "Into The West" and "Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee"? Even though he wrote and told his-story, it kept ours, and the Dark Skin Blue Coats stories 'alive'. Like the Jewish person that copies a religion from Africa, as you've related to, 'the origin of human life'...he says "never forget, or the past shall be repeated". Let the true stories be told

I have learned that the oldest artifacts in the world have been found in Africa, indicating that African people were the first. However, the rest are just "theories", assumptions - none of this can really ever be proven. Theories are also biased. The Native people have their own stories that need to be respected.

I suggest that you ask your grade school science teacher the difference between a "theory" and a "fact". You have a nice day, too.

so you can't prove what you say. got it.

the 'out of africa' theory remains true, and your statement regarding 'cultures' is meaningless.

    have a nice day.

Until you can DISPROVE that purple people used to chew bubble gum and then use it to catch flies, it remains fact.

not a bold statement but FACT. all modern humans derive from africa.

pyramids imply a culture that can build them...humans came before 'cultures'. no matter what is 'found' in china, japan, under the seas or even egypt (which was 'african' and what we'd call 'black' since egypt was founded by nubia), all these pyramids and monuments were built AFTER the first humans remains were found in africa.

until you can DISPROVE the 'out of africa' theory, it remains fact.

Revenge is the only word, 'that' does not stand in military terms, as a military action, therefore; when a military unit commits revenge, there 'is' no honor. Revenge is the only word you could put on this stupidity of killing old women, men and children. What honor is there in such an action? Therefore, rescind the Medals of Honor for the Wounded Knee Massacre (battle, in military terms).

Read the epic novel "Rescue at Pine Ridge", 5 stars Amazon Int., the story of the revenge and redemption.
