  • @ibrahimdesign So true! But the fight is worth it.

  • @mabhekaphansi yes. you are absolutely right. because we have to fight for it, because we have to overcome such odds to love. :)

  • E.M. Forster unstood hip human nature very well.

  • I love when the teacher says "ten years to the day I shall invite u and ur wife to dine me" and indeed in the movie more than ten years later the teacher sees Maurice and Alec together in the Museum.

  • @Dumbledorathexplora LOL, Yes, there seems to be a certain pleasing, undefinable something about gay love that seems to be absent from straight love. I used sometimes to look down at my guy's face early in the morning, as he lay asleep next to me, and mouth a silent "Thank You!".

  • My question is when, oh when, are we going to get a 1080p bluray transfer with the deleted scenes cleaned up/re-integrated? This film's cinematography just BEGS for it.

  • @mabhekaphansi Yes indeed, it took me a second time watching the movie to realize how tender Alec is and he is CUTE!

  • @FernandoLety Hi Fernando, yes, but I incorrectly read your initial post! Sorry! But it would have been great for Clive and Maurice to have walked off into the sunset together. Forster, I suspect, wanted a bit of "rough" in the book, but, nonetheless, Alec is a sweet and thoroughly genuine character, and is absolutely honest about his sexuality.
