After Jim from Oklahoma (see previously posted video) called the show to tell us about his "coup" -- and his racist, anti-Obama beliefs, Liz from San Diego called among the people responding to Jim. She warned that people should pay attention to people like Jim and then became emotional, explaining that her own mother had joined the birthers and the Tea Party crowd, also organizing to overthrow the government, and inspired by racism.

  • A coup!? What does this woman's mother want? The healthcare bill is practically a joke, we're still wreaking havoc in Iraq, etc.

  • This chick sounds as dumb as her mother.

  • @1OklahomaSucks1 They are "racists" and "rednecks" in Oklahoma? And they should all be "massacred"? They're racists because they didn't vote your way? Way to go, you are the poster child for the failing American Education System.

  • Fuck the racist state of Oklahoma. I wish we could just send in the army and massacre those stupid rednecks. That fucking state didn't have a single county vote for Obama in 2008. I bet Jim loves living in the backwards hick state of Oklahoma.

  • So? What's your point? That makes it okay or something?

  • I have a family member just like that.

Where is the video with Jim?

  • I feel so sorry for the lady who made that call - I would feel the same if my mother (who is also prone to believing right wing 'scare' stuff, though in UK, not USA), was getting involved in stuff like that.

There is a huge amount of dis-information about Obama being recycled between various conspiracy theorizers who dismiss outright *any* evidence that undermines their 'beliefs', and yes, some are advocating 'overthrowing' the Govt somehow. I take these people seriously. They scare me!

  • Racism is bad, all around. It's a spiritual drain, and it's the worst aspect of mankind.

  • The dutch brought blacks that were sold to them by other blacks. FTFY.
