Cocteau Twins music between 1983 and 1988 (Head Over Heels to Blue Bell Knoll) was like drinking the most heavenly elixir you can imagine......just wallow in the huge wash of chiming guitars, synths and THAT otherworldly voice that is Liz Fraser..... it couldn't get any better than this!

@trippletear I'm with you 1000%. The first time I heard my first song from them; it was like a warm river that washed over me. My eyes and mind were opened to something I never experienced since well ever.

Opening a Cocteau Twins CD in the 1980s was like visiting a magical place. I anticipated the sound that would sweep me away for weeks, months and years.

@posypity Lol the voice of an angel without doubt my friend :)
the first time i heard a song by the cocteau twins it was on an old
gramaphone record and i was playing it at 33rpm instead of 45. they
sounded even more mysterious like that though i did give up on them
twice. then i heard an album that was supposed to be played at 33
and i thought 'oh, they've improved'

@flaxlawna I bought it back in the day on vinyl, and couldnt stop
playing this one, I recorded it onto a cassette to play over & over.
I use to pretend I was singing it infront of thousands :)
