The FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Competition is a unique sport where high school students compete like crazy to solve a real-world engineering problem. Every year a different "game" is released that the robots have to play. From the point when this animation is released, all teams have six weeks to design, build, and test a working robot. Please visit the USFIRST website: http://www.usfirst.org/roboticsprograms/frc/default.aspx?id=966.

At the regionals in Philadelphia hanging played a huge difference in the matches... Some of the matches that didn't have penalties went down to hanging.. The teams that could hang were the ones that passed on to the playoffs usually.

@chucky123666 if by the middle of nowhere you mean the most important part of the field

You get 1 point kicking the ball in the net and only 5 points for hanging 2 of your robots in the middle of nowhere. I'm not a fan of the scoring or the objective.

I'd love to see how "easy" it is for you to posess the ball. :P

Yes I know that is challenging, but comparing with the one last year that the wheels didn't have good traction, it's more simple than other years
But this year challenge have good things to think about that's true

@seroca89 it's actually pretty challinging, the hanging itself is hard, to support the weight of ur robot and possibly, another.
