Destruction of the Rainforest Threatens the Future of Us All
Would you like to create the life of wealth and contribution youve always dreamed of? Our business opportunity gives you a way to make a positive difference in your life, your community and the world.

Today, thousands of species are threatened with extinction.

Every minute, 75 acres of Rainforest is disappearing. Its possible that in the next 18 years, 90% of the entire Rainforest will be gone.

The Rainforest is the worlds treasure house of healing botanicals, the lungs of the planet, and much more

In fact, the National Cancer Institute has identified 3,000 plants active against cancer 70% of them in the Rainforest.

A new model of sustainable economics brings a welcome solution.
In one year, one acre of the Rainforest is worth: * Cattle. $60 per acre * Timber.. $400 per acre * Herbs $2400 per acre

Todays consumers are more ecologically conscious and are choosing to buy earth-friendly products. They are driving a new model of business. Recent surveys report that: * 68 million Americans consider environmental and social issues when purchasing* * 91% are interested in protecting the environment* * 83% support responsible business practices* * 59% prefer sustainably produced products*

* According to Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability (LOHAS) 2003

Amazon Herb Company is in perfect step with this growing consumer consciousness. We partner with over 14 Amazon communities who are sustainably harvesting nutrient-rich botanicals. This cooperation creates economic resources at the village level to protect the land and the culture, and sustain a vision of hope for the future.

We have leveraged the desire for health, planetary balance and financial freedom into a new model of ecological prosperity. Join us and live the adventure.

  • Yes, organic farming is incredibly inefficient and therefore wasteful. Thanks for the fearmongering, though, I guess if I consume a diet of organic chips, organic beer, and organic cigarettes instead of an "inorganic" diet of chicken, veggies, and other formerlly-healthful foods I'll be right as rain.

Since you introduced fear mongering, let me dish it back: your inefficent farming practices drive up prices resulting in the poor eating fewer healthful foods. Therefore you are causing cancer.

  • Wasteful practice of organic farming ?

Obviously the Monsanto's round up ready corn, soya, canola etc. did not get your body yet (although it seams like they got your brain) but wait till you are diagnosed with cancer.

Then, you can do 2 things: intoxicate yourself even more with chemo and die in a horrible agony, OR you can detoxify, eat organic foods following Dr. Gerson's, Dr. Kelley, Dr. Budwig or Dr. Christopher's protocol for cancer and get heal. Get smart! Stupidity costs too much.

  • good work, great company!

  • it will be a blessed day when we get back to NATURE/TRUTH.....ps it's coming!!!

  • i love the Amazon!!!

  • sounds too good to be true where do ho how do i join in.......oh i already do.

I RECOMMEND THIS FOR EVERYONE OUT THERE IN CYBERSPACE!!!

  • scuba steve clearly has his head so far up his ass he is confusing the gas from his intestines with OXYGEN.

  • I am not going to watch any documentary on the Amazon because I'm sick and tired of environmental alarmism. It gets crammed down my throat enough without seeking it out.

Besides, I've already mathematically proven that Amazon rainforest proponents are liars (and have problems with many of their other claims) and until they apologize for that I will not trust "save the rainforest" groups.

  • I've never been to the Amazon rainforest but I've been in the Central American rainforest several times. Like its Amazonian brother, this forest's fate was also said to be dire, yet there it was nonetheless.

I'm well aware of the reasons forests are cleared - farming is a huge reason. It's hypocritical to support the rainforest while also promoting its destruction by pushing "green" issues like ethanol fuel (Brazil's known for) and the wasteful practice of organic farming.

  • Do the math. Calculate the number of seconds that have elapsed since 1980 and multiply it by the per-second deforestion rate. There's no consensus (another sign of a lack of science) but it's usually between 1 - 3.

Then calculate the forest's size in acres.

Then find the most biased pro-enviro figure on total deforestation. I highest inflated figure I found was 25%.

Observe that the total forcasted destroyed acres is greater than the cited number of acres and the entire forest itself!
