Palm pre crashes for no reason

This is my wifes new palm pre... This phone dies every time you slide it open... If you leave it sit for too long it crashes... That is the sprint customer service hold music in the background... Way to go sprint!!

probably just the battery, when the first pre's came out for sprint the battery was loose,so when ever the phone shook it would shut down. sticking a piece of paper in the back to stabalize the battery seems to do the trick...

This is the 4th day I had mine and ugh! Man,it crashes just like u showed us!!! I'm getting a new phone today! Don't ever get a palm pre!!

This happens to the Palm Pre Plus I got today. It's crashed 4 times today for no reason. Also it runs really choppy for some reason. Is it suppose to be that way? The transitions and menu scrolling are not smooth at all.

My keyboard buttons are also extremely dim and lit unevenly. It hurts to look at it because there is no contrast.

I already own an iPod Touch (and I'm on Verizon), so don't tell me to get the iPhone. I wouldn't even if I could.

not really. i would say thier the same. 3gs is built way better but in all other aspects the pre is i phone for sprint
