The real Chicago died with Terry Kath in my opinion.

It's a great tribute to be able to approximate some of Terry's playing. Imagine the mind of the man who not only played it, but also was able to create it, mostly spur-of-the-moment. Kath's brilliance as a singer, guitarist, and writer was really unparalleled in his day, and remains remarkable more than 30 years after his untimely death.

its sound different from the original solo but it's a GREAT cover!
I'm 18 and I'm trying so hard to play this, To me Terry Kath put such a lot of soul & emotion in this playing, only few guitarist are able to.
Wow! Amazing is all I can say. I had already written this solo (my favorite ever) off as impossible to play, but you have inspired me to take the time to try and learn it

@Guitaristcj84 If you take it bit by bit, you can get it. There's a program called Amazing Slow Downer, which is great for transcribing. It's the best program I've come across so far. Way better than a two speed tape recorder, lol. I'm going to try to post some kind of lesson on this, one of these days. Good luck!

@tannerr96 The key is Am. Terry uses a lot of pentatonics.

I think u had a lot of soul in this performance. Great tone, skill and delivery. This solo actually sounds better without the wah wah. It was awesome how u covered the brass instruments.
