Our Love Part Two.

This was the second time that we were able to see each other in the past year and three months of our relationship. Over this time, we've grown so much together as people and as a couple. The clock only keeps ticking. We are now in the process of saving up for Krystle to move to Seattle with Ulyber. As the stresses only increase and the distance doesn't decrease, love is the drive that motivates both of them to keep strong--for themselves as well as others to continue to prove that love knows no distance. Love only knows love.

If you noticed, there's a difference between the atmosphere of the first video compared to the one in this video. This trip was different from the first, special and perfect in almost a completely different way. While we went on a couple of trips like the last one, the focus of this one seemed to shift towards showing us what it would be like once we tied the knot, hence the music of "Married Life' from Pixar's UP. Cleaning together, cooking together, shopping together, being lazy together; they were all moments that we found still finding just as special--sometimes even more so--as the trips we took to Halaekala or the luau.

Day 1 - Arrive at the airport with Krystle waiting near the baggage claim. Then we took the Haiku bus to Queen Ka'ahumanu Mall, where we were picked up by the owner of the studio that Ulyber was renting for the following ten days. The rest of the day consisted of eating, watching TV, and trying to take in the fact that we weren't dreaming.

Day 2 - Learned the Maui bus system. Took it to Queen Ka'ahumanu where we then walked to Maui Mall. We had IHOP for lunch, then stayed in the arcade for an hour and a half. After that, we had giri giri, went to a novelty gift shop, and watched the movie "Paul".

Day 3 - Another lazy day. Go to Queen Ka'ahumanu, watch TV, play at the arcade.

Day 4 - Ulyber takes the bus to Krystle's house early and hangs out with Krystle's family. He then helps clean the house, go grocery shopping, and then bar-b-que.

Day 5 - Trip to Lahaina. As soon as we got off the bus, we were so hungry that we started walking down Front Street to find some food. Luckily, we ran in to a joint called "Burger in Paradise" which is one of the most amazing places we've ever eaten at. Afterwards, we rented two beach cruisers (bikes) and went up and down Front Street, went to a black light mini golf course, and Safeway. The day was then ended off with a walk to the Old Lahaina Luau that provided even better food and drinks.

Day 6 - Lazy day.

Day 7 - A trip to the Maui Ocean Center where we also got a local artist to draw our names. (Picture will be uploaded one of our tumblrs somewhere). Day ends with coming back to Krystle's house to help with grocery shopping and marinating tons of bbq.

Day 8 - More cleaning of Krystle's house/room. Watch TV with Krystle and Kent (little brother). Huge family bbq then ends the day off well.

Day 9 - Krystle comes over early and we hop in the swimming pool. Later on, Ulyber takes Krystle to a surprise magic dinner in Lahaina (after they change in to the semi-formalish) called Kupanaha. Afterwards, we take the wrong bus home and have to end up taking a cab back from Lahaina to Kahului. x_x Fun experience though! LOL.

Day 10 - Whole day spent to enjoy each other's company. Watched TV, went to Ka'ahumanu and watched "The Adjustment Bureau" while eating extremely stale popcorn and a really old beer-tasting strawberry slushy. (We recommend not buying any refreshments/snacks from the theater in Ka'ahumanu). Finish the night off with a family dinner at Dragon Dragon and then watching Sucker Punch with them in the Maui Mall theater.

Day 11 - Krystle comes over to Ulyber's studio early to help clean the studio. She finds him extremely hot. Not like that. Somehow, Ulyber got a crazy fever and was stuffy nosed and coughing with a horrible sore throat, something that we still don't know the direct cause of but would like to attribute it to the stupid popcorn. We clean the studio, and pack. Krystle's dad picks us up and brings the baggage to their place. Krystle cooks spam musubi and we eat them together while playing Tekken 6 with family. Take a trip to the mall and then come back for the last two hours Ulyber is in Maui. Ulyber lays down on Krystle's bed as Krystle takes his temperature and puts wet towels on his forehead. His fever is at 102.8. They then spend the last hour laying there, not saying much.

Even though we've been together for longer, it's still the little things that we treasure. The little pecks on the cheek, the intertwining of fingers. Even sitting down on the sofa with each other to watch TV. The clinginess never disappeared. The emotions are stronger than ever.

This is love.

And we're going to make it.
