http://www.ted.com Brene Brown studies human connection -- our ability to empathize, belong, love. In a poignant, funny talk at TEDxHouston, she shares a deep insight from her research, one that sent her on a personal quest to know herself as well as to understand humanity. A talk to share.
TEDTalks is a daily video podcast of the best talks and performances from the TED Conference, where the world's leading thinkers and doers give the talk of their lives in 18 minutes. Yes I was thinking about it and I suppose this is an introduction to mindfulness etc to some people who haven't ever seen or heard about it. I just find the Buddhists etc to be much more interesting and enlightened and they tend to have more practical guidance etc.

Thanks for stating that. I agree with much of what is said. BUT IT IS NOT NEW...Buddhism and Hinduism and Zen and many other isms have talked about it for centuries...
