@BritishArrow Except that the tunnel is two lanes wide and straight as an arrow.
I know it because I drove through it numerous times, late at night, and at a speed far above the speed limit. And yes, I had been partying for a good part of the night before driving there.
To hit a pilar in the Alma bridge tunnel with a car, even at 90mph, you need to be
helped somehow, because there is a curb that will normally prevent your wheels from rolling into the pilars line. Food for thought :-)
