Ahmedabad's Wild and Crazy Markets, Gujarat

Ahmedabad appeared to be an exercise in chaos. People hawking goods from stalls, shops, along the street, in the street, continually adding another row to sell from when the previous row became too congested.

A din of honking cars, buses and trucks. Motorcycles weaving their way around people on sidewalks when they couldn't get through a traffic jam. Brightly colored pasta, different varieties of chick peas and rice. New and used clothing. Wedding veils... It's no wonder ex-Marine and I were ready to fall over in exhaustion after a few hours and needed a stiff drink.

How can a person sleep at night with sensory overload rewinding through what was left of my brain? Incredible India...
