this song was previously included in a video called "starring in a televised execution". the song is now "finished", and is currently called "the castle".

the guitar tone sounds like shit, to be perfectly honest. the songwriting part is done and the lyrics are mostly inserted. the really big bridge part in the middle is maybe too big, maybe not big enough. the current idea is that it's kind of like a standoff. the first measure, we both break at the end, then after that, we jag around for a couple of measures; every once in a while, i take a break and zak plays a drum solo, or zak takes a break and i do something on the guitar. if we both take a break at the same time (past a certain point), i go right back into the song.

maybe we should nail that down. hmm.

maybe we should just do, say, twelve cycles of the "riff".

i don't know, man. all i know right now is, the guitar tone sounds a lot more terrible in this video than it did in person. or maybe my ears were just damaged from having been in that little room too long.
