Flash Player fix for Mac PPC

USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK! THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL RELEASE. THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES OR WARRANTIES. Im not claiming ownership or anything else, I just "twicked" it a bit to make it work. Because APPLE and ADOBE don't give a sh1t about PPC anymore.

Here is the last available version of Flash Player plug-in for PCC Macs that will let you view embedded YouTube videos in Facebook. Currently if you are on a PPC Mac and you click on videos in Facebook and some videos on CNN and some other sites, it will tell you to update to the new Flash Player... THERE IS NO NEW FLASH PLAYER FOR PPC MACs.

PPC architecture is officially no longer supported by APPLE or ADOBE.

Download to your desktop, unzip it, and replace the current Flash Player plug-in which is in your main/Library/Internet Plug-Ins folder, (not the user Library). Save the old one just in case this one doesn't work. http://www.steelbin.com/FPforFBPPC.zip

** UPDATE ** I was really not expecting such a huge response to this, as a result my bandwidth is getting murdered... Not only did I add this to my G4 at home but the one at the office. Also my co-worker commented on her not being able to play videos on her computer so I sent her the download and showed her how to install it. Worked like a charm. I don't use Foxfire that often but it works just fine on Safari

You're not that fat ;^) Thanks you saved me just in the nick of time. I thought I was stuck with 2 very large PowerPC paperweights :P I've been pissed how Apple has been screwing their loyal customers I got stuck with an ADC display then I had to upgrade to 10.5 to use my sons iPod but, PC users could still use XP. Now they stopped supporting PPC users, where is their loyalty. Thanks again, hope my donation helped a little. Not sure how much a micro is :P
