I used to believe that I could never 'switch' from meat-eating too (like so many other vegans). Yet I did. It was really easy, and I feel so much better, mentally (no guilt), and physically (much fitter). From a friendly vegan, who understands your stance and sympathises with you, Jokersbrat, but hopes you'll change your mindset to become completely compassionate towards other species.

Abuse is not right but is death and abuse an answer to ppls problems. I would love to got vegy but parents don't believe in vegy ppl. Oh where raise animals for food personly I think it's wrong but my parents don't care!.

Well this is what I have to say about that. I am and will always be a meat eater and I will always raise my own animals for that purpose, but I will not and nor have I ever abused my animals like that. Killing animals for food is one thing. Letting them suffer and starve and be in pain over extended time is another. I am greivful for this fact and I do have compassion but you have to realize that not every one will think vegetarian is right. I could never switch but the abuse thing is not right.
