He sings nuts like that because he is grunge, but also consider that the record version is better, and he,I dont know,is kinda diferent since patrick left the band,aparently more tired,just listen to the highly evolved times live and you will see what I am talking about.

and in more simple songs like TV Pro, Autumn Shade, etc.. he MANAGES TO FUCKING KILL THE SONG TOO. he messes all the songs up, doing strange kinds of singing... WHAT THE FUCK IS THE PROBLEM WITH SIMPLY SINGING AND PLAYING THE SONG LIKE IT'S ON THE FUCKING RECORD? that's it. that's all i have to say. if you still think i'm wrong, let's stop this "discussion" here.

I love The Vines and most of the songs, but imo Craig Nicholls simply SUCKS live.
Search for Get Free at Letterman's... you can call it revolutionary, new, rebel, WHAT-THEFUCK-EVER. for me he's simply killing the fucking song. In this one he IS NOT ABLE to reach the key/tone. so why did he recorded it anyway? He would do better as a composer, which did songs for other bands to play.

No, it's not easy. Try singing it in Craig's key, tone and lead guitar at the same time.
I'd rather seeing Craig play it than someone with an up-start ego that stops them from admitting what is difficult chord progression.
