This was recorded with fraps on my pc with Crysis at the highest settings(Very High) at the resolution of 1920 by 1080.

This video was converted using the new Badaboom 2.0 program.

This file was converted in about 30 seconds with the Nvidia CUDA technology enabled.

This video was recorded with fraps and the original size of it was 947 MB. I converted it to the Youtube output of Badaboom 2.0 in 1080P. The new file has a size of 40.8 MB!

This is a huge difference because there is hardly any difference in quality between the 2 files.

947 MB to 40.8 MB !!!!!!!!

Instead of waiting a couple of hours to upload this video, the new file size of this video permetted a youtube upload of about 10 mins!

  • does Badaboom 2.0 lets you convert other files , rather than just mp4?

  • @niceboy60 yeah there is alot of file type wmv avi mp4 etc

  • Good Evening, Every time I run fraps to record lets say Crysis Warhead, my FPS is around 40+. When attempt to record my FPS drops to 22 to 8 then 16 but its unbareable to play let alone watch. PC Specs; i7 920 @ 4Ghz 6x3GB 1333Mhz Tri-Channel GTX 460 OC Enermax 1000w Windows 7 x64 I'm a IT savvy and gaming geek for several years now and its baffled me that Fraps won't record 1920x1080 at 30FPS yet my PC will rinse any game thrown at it. What's the secret?
  • @Psyoletic well frankly ive never heard of a problem like that before. Usually you get around 10 fps drops with fraps but your case is pretty weird. and as for the 1920x1080 i dont know why it wont record at 30 fps since i have slighty lower pc specs than you but mine works. the only thing i can think of is that maybe its because of crysis warhead or something. or you should probably chek out the program (playclaw). its pretty much the same thing than fraps maybe this will solved your problem.

  • @Psyoletic hope this helped!
