@angusthethird She sounds like a very lovely lady and thank you for sharing such a warm memory of her. You and she must love each other very much. Today is my mother's 81st birthday and all day long I've been haunted with the fear of how many birthdays she has left. She's always been there for me and I know it will be very difficult to say goodbye.

I dedicate this to my wonderful mother (July 2, 1924- June 12, 2009.)
She listened faithfully to instrumentals that would play on the Muzak stations. This is one of them. This was one of her favourite types of music.
I remember distinctly a run in I had with my dad that left me in tears the day before Labour Day, 1974. That Sunday, Sept 1, when I was 8, my dad and I had a serious clash over something. My mom was there, and she gave me a lesson on how to social dance to comfort me.
