It would be better if this guy just wrote for other singers. His voice is so aggravating.

When songs have lyrics this profound, its not about who's version you like listening to more. Waits version is the way its supposed to be. and thats worth alot of respect. Norah Jones is great, shes just not tom waits.

Before my girlfriend and I started dating we worked together. I always used to take her route home with her, even though it was 45 minutes longer. Yes that's one of the reasons I love this song.
