@Jamiethewookie I admit he could've saved himself but it wasn't his fault. He didn't know what he had was as bad as it quickly turned out to be.

I agree. Rowlf was one of my favourite Muppets and I was sad to see him retired. Also, Bill Baretta does a great job.

Like Rowlf, some of the classic Muppet characters may sound slightly different today because of recasting since the original performers have either pased away or retired, but that simply cannot be helped. The Muppets have been around for several years, change is bound to happen.
Recasting the characters is certainly better than just retiring them.
I am a Muppet fan, BTW.

Don't let people annoy you buddy. I'm like you in thinking as long as the characters are still there it does not matter if the voice is slightly different. Take Steve Whitmire, he came under a lot of stick when he took over Kermit but I think he is amazing.
