Today my grandson is being buried after dying at 8 days old. This song will be played at his funeral. I can not think of any song more touching or appropriate, especially the way it is sung by Bette Midler. What a shame we can not accompany the tune with the most appealing and emotional video I have seen under these circumstances.

This was my favorite to be sung to me by my mother when I was a little one. She had the voice of an angel. Now I sing this to my baby girl all the time while rubbing my belly. I started the day I found out I was pregnant, promised her then that I'd do everything I can to keep her safe, and to be everything she needs. I still have 3 more months to go before she is here in my arms, but when I sing this to her she moves as far up as she can and curls up under my hand. My sweet baby mine 3
