Niiiiice. Very neat concept indeed. I wish I had this kind of intuition for writing harmonies. Any pointers you can give on what approach to take?

Ha ha! I do have some advice, but i don't know if you are going to like it!

First, grow up singing SATB type church choir music. Then listen to all the old style country music you can get your hands on - a la The Oak Ridge Boys, Statler Brothers, etc. That's how I spent my teenage years. Not very popular music, but it definitely grants a kind of intuition for harmonies!

Geeeeeez! No way can I contrive such an thorough... development.

Meh, I guess I'm stuck on doing it the 'brute force' way... writing out your cover's vocal parts and deconstructing it through the music theory angle :/ No fun, no fun at all!
