Cheaters / hackers don't play to enjoy, they play to win. They enjoy winning and others staring at him (/ her) not being able to do anything about it. Also, there are plenty of games rewarding for a specific amount of points / kills. For instance: Ranks, weapons and/or other benefits. Someone might hack because he really wants a specific upgrade, but he just sucks too much in the game.
Hacking, unfortunately, is impossible to stop. The only fix, is plenty of administration to ban them in time.
