It's possible TIWICI has done more research than you think ~ Julian has stated that between age 4 And 17 he only saw his father 7 or 8 times........he often had angry outbursts towards Julian & Julian was somewhat afraid of him. So, when he says they were starting to get closer (patch things up) it meant visiting him on a more regular basis.

Just an ordinary man... who just happened to be a musical genius and one of the most recognized actovists for peace ever. And FYI he did not abandon Julian. He still saw and loved him and made it very clear that he would always love him. As a matter of fact i've always heard that they had started to patch up the relationship right before John died. I know John was just a man, but seriously give him his props where they're due and do a bit of research before making such an harsh judgment.

i think in many ways Julian is a comfort for many John Lennon fans. He looks so much like John and sounds like him too. Many people still miss John very much and Julian has provided that comfort to many fans...love Julian.
